1968 1/2 Ford Mustang GT Fastback
In 1968, Ford created a secret weapon: "The Hemi Hunter" with a 335 hp 428 Cobra Jet engine. Big block made its debut in the Mustang at Pomona, eclipsing the competition. When you wrap a slippery fastback around a power pac you get one of the fastest Ponys ever made. Rotisserie restored, with original sheet metal, this is one of them. It is also the only one of this model year with a 4:30 Traction-Lok rear axle.
- Rare Raven black paint with gold stripes
- Matching-numbers 428 Cobra Jet engine
- Correct 4-speed manual transmission
- 4:30 9" Traction-lok rear axle
- Ram air hood
MartiAutoWorks report:
- 1 of 1044 built with 428CJ engines, of which 706 came with a 4-speed manual transmission
- 60 of them were painted Raven Black
